Here we are in China. We took a tour of the city. Our tour guide's name was Frank (pic 1), it wasn't really but that's his American name. He took that name because of the movie, "The Bodyguard" w/ Kevin Costner, I guess Chinese Frank thought movie Frank was great. He was a sweet guy, probably about 22 yrs old and spoke excellent English.
We visited a "park", People Square formerly named Stalin Square when the Russians occupied Dalian. Really not much here. I found the fountain that was being repaired (pic 2) more interesting than the park and the people trying to sell us kites.
Picture 3 are tigers that were chasing a princess and she turned into a tiger, or something like that. I didn't really follow the story but I thought the tiger were cool.
We also visited a nursery school where the kids sang for us. Picture 4 is some of the housing we saw while driving around.
Then we drove around and saw a bridge and another park. I was not that impressed with Dalian (pic 5).
