April 16th - 21st New England

This is what happens when I don't update the blog as soon as I can/should. It's now Feb '09 and I've lost some of the pics (I didn't lose them, someone else did). So this will be just a few pics with short explanations.

We started in Boston, Tom had a business meeting so I spend the day in Boston by myself. I had a great time! I've been there before but 20+ years ago. So I had plenty to see and do.

One Fri we drove to Maine, along the way we stopped at

Glouster. Beautiful New England scenery!

It was a crisp spring day, but how could you not love the coast

On our drive up to Maine we drove through Rockport, CT. Hollywood was making a movie with Keanu Reeves & Sandra Bullock, can't remember the name. Anyway, they turned Rockport, CT into Sitka, AK. So here we travel across the nation and end up in Alaska!?!

In Maine we stayed in the town of Ogunquit in the B&B just off the beach (lost pic). Saturday was Patriot's Day (whatEver, what do us west coasters know about early American patriots). Well the New Englander love their historical patriots. To celebrate they reenact Paul Reverse's ride through the town. Pretty cool huh? I'll let you in on a secret, it was a girl under that tricorner!

We also had some yummy lobster at Barnacle Billy's (reminds me of that guy in Pirates of the Carib - scary)
