Some interesting info about Ireland:

--unleaded gas costs the equivalent of $8.68/gal (they sell by liter & convert to US$)

--90% of Ireland is privately owned

--Northern Ireland is part of the UK.  They overwhelmingly voted against Brexit.  In many cases because it goes against the Good Friday agreement.  There is still much to be worked out..  It's very complicated!
